We recently moved from Santa Ana, Costa Rica to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Unfortunedly our 2 dogs, a small Schnauzer and a small Poodle were not able to travel with us due to not having a place that allowed dogs once we got to KL. A friend is taking care of the dogs for now in Costa Rica near Ciudad Colon. Luckily for us now, we have found a place that allows us to live with the dogs and we just moved in. We would like to get the dogs here as soon as possible.
Peluche (Schnauzer) and Gucci (Poodle) they have their vaccination records up to date, a micro chip and those records have been sent to our dog agent here in KL by our Vet. We just need the “EXPORT PERMIT & VETERINARIAN HEALTH CERTIFICATE ISSUED BY COSTA RICA GOVERNMENT VETERINARY DEPARTMENT.) As I mentioned before, our dog agent here in Kuala Lumpur already has copies of the dog’s vaccination records, micro chip and he applied for an import permit here in KL but unfortunedly the import permit is no longer valid and he will apply for another import permit which is no problem. He will do this once we have a confirmation departure date from the airline we choose. At this point I do not have an airline yet? As per my knowledge no airlines flights directly from San Jose, C.R. to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia -International Airport. Maybe you have an alternative to this??? Or can give me some advise on which route will be the best way for the dogs to flight. Our goal is to pick the airline that can flight as direct as possible to KL, Malaysia – International Airport.
I need help in Costa Rica finding an agent that can help me to export my dogs from C.R to KL, Malaysia. The agent will have to go and buy the appropriate kennels for each dog according to the dogs size and assure of their safety at all times. He /She will have to pick up the dogs from my friend’s house and assure the dogs get into the designated airline for exportation. Not sure if our Vet. still is willing to help us file for the Export permit & veterinarian Health Certificate issued by a Government Department I will get back to you on this waiting for her reply.
My Vet. has the original vaccination records and micro chip records. I will let you know if my Vet. is willing to file with the Government Department for the Export /Veterinarian Health Certificate issued by the Government very important.
I will also need for the agent in C.R. to scan a copy of the “AIRWAYBILL BOOKING FOR PET CARGO IN COSTA RICA) This is the final paper that the agent receives and gives it to the perspective airline attendant bringing the dogs to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. My agent here in KL, will need a scanned copy so he can track the dogs’ flight from departure to arrival here in KL.
I;m concerned about the 23hours and 37 minutes duration flight to get from San Jose, Costa Rica to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – International Airport, this is what it takes for the dogs to flight here directly. I do not know of an airline that flights directly from San Jose, C.R. to Kuala Lumpur, again as I mentioned before, maybe you have the answer to that.
Please let me know if you can help me export my dogs to their new home and their family here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
I appreciate your time in reading this, please if you are not able to help me, can you recommend someone that can?
